OUR REQUEST TO BECOME A MOOSE AND FUR TAGGING STATION IN THE HEART OF THE NORTH MAINE WOODS

Greetings all, Even with the dog days of summer upon us we are always looking forward to the best ways to bring services to our loyal customers and friends here in the North Maine Woods outdoor community.
As with every communication we must start with, THANK YOU for your support!, those that have already signed our petition, and for forwarding our cause to become a Registration/Tagging Station made a HUGE difference in getting us here:
We are currently an official Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Registration/Tagging Station for Bear and Deer.
NEXT STEP – MOOSE AND FUR TAGGING STATION
We have met all the requirements needed by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, and we are ready to submit our letter of intent for upgrade. We hope that a few more letters of support and encouragement from the sporting community will get us a favorable decision.
We are committed to doing what we can to make this happen for you.
The Lodge is located more than 60 miles from Ashland, Millinocket, and the Quebec Border and would be THE ONLY MOOSE AND FUR TAGGING STATION IN THE NORTH MAINE WOODS NORTH OF THE GOLDEN ROAD in T7R11, Northeast Piscataquis County, and centrally located in the North Maine Woods.
This alone would make this a great resource for our Moose Hunting and Trapping community.

I am petitioning the Maine Department of Inland Fish and Wildlife requesting that Allagash Headwaters Lodge in T7R11 Northeast Piscataquis County be licensed to serve as a full service tagging station, including Moose and Fur Tagging.
