With more than 30 years of North Maine Woods experience and 27 years of Sporting Camp knowledge, we have built a new lodge in the headwaters of the Allagash River. A river that flows north! Ideally situated near Chamberlain Bridge and Indian Stream on Big Eagle Lake, we offer a purpose-built, modern facility that caters to four seasons of outdoor recreationalists, including ADA-compliant clients, with a fully accessible lodge. From ice-out fishing on the headwater lakes to hunting for Northern Maine’s Trophy Moose, Trophy Whitetails, and numerous ruffed grouse, we end the season on the hardwater pursuing Brook Trout, Lake Trout, and white fish ice fishing.
Fully guided trips are available, including Allagash River Canoe Trips, fully outfitted and guided if needed.
We built our new lodge with the attitude that (if you build it, they will come) more than 60 miles from the nearest paved road, telephone pole, or store. We are in T7R11 in Northeast Piscataquis County. In conjunction with Allagash Headwaters Snowmobile Club, we have 50 miles of groomed trails that connect Shin Pond, Oxbow, Millinocket, and Chesuncook snowmobile clubs and trail systems. Offering meals, lodging, and fuel in a remote setting. Catering to the tremendous interest in the Allagash Ghost Trains, the third most popular snowmobile destination in the Northeast.
A four-season facility with the best of accommodations and meals of the highest quality.
Six private rooms that accommodate up to four guests with a private bath.
WIFI, telephone, Gas, local firewood, and ice as needed.
Join us in the Headwaters of the Allagash!
