We are petitioning the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife to license Allagash Headwaters Lodge in T7R11, Northeast Piscataquis County, as a full-service tagging station.
We are located more than 60 miles on industrial woods roads, in any direction from the closest moose and fur tagging station, and centrally located in the North Maine Woods. We operate a full-service facility 12 months a year, catering to the sporting public in a remote location with a high level of sporting activity from the general public, campers, and camp owners.
A full-service tagging station, which includes Moose, Deer, Bear, and allowed fur, will greatly assist the sporting public by allowing them to tag their animals where they hunt and trap.
