Our Tagging Station Update

Greetings all,

We have some great news to share. First and foremost, THANK YOU for your support, for signing our petition, and for forwarding our cause to become a Registration/Tagging Station.

It is official! We have made it, albeit halfway there. We are now officially a Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Registration/Tagging Station for Bear and Deer.

Our first effort fell a bit short, but we have received encouraging news from IF&W that, should we be able to show cause and sufficient interest from the sporting public, we will be able to add a certified scale to Register and Check Moose and Fur as well.

We are committed to becoming a full-service Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife Registration/Tagging Station.

Located more than 60 miles on industrial woods roads, in any direction from the closest moose and fur tagging station, in T7R11, Northeast Piscataquis County, and centrally located in the North Maine Woods. We operate a full-service facility 12 months a year, catering to the sporting public in a remote location with a high level of sporting activity from the general public, campers, and camp owners.

As we do with all our services here at the Allagash Headwaters Lodge, we want to be able to deliver the best and most convenient services to the entire sporting public here deep in the Headwaters of the Allagash Region in the North Maine Woods.
